Water environments join structure, water treatment, air treatment, drainage, electrical systems and finishes. These interfaces are fixed in coordinated drawings before construction begins.
Plan the plant room as permanent infrastructure
The plant room provides direct access, working clearance, drainage, ventilation, lighting, safe electrical distribution and a route for replacing the largest component. Equipment follows the process direction and matches the schematic, valve schedule and asset labels.
- Filters open fully within the room.
- Pumps, strainers, heaters and UV units can be removed independently.
- Sample lines and sensors remain accessible at working height.
- Floors direct water to an approved drain.
- Noise and vibration isolation protect guest and occupied spaces.
- Major equipment can reach the room without structural alteration.
Separate and control chemical systems
Chemical delivery, storage and dosing follow a documented route. Compatible products are stored together; incompatible products occupy separate controlled zones. Containment, ventilation, identification, access control, dosing-point separation and emergency provisions follow the chemical data and governing requirements.
Engineer indoor air
Air temperature, humidity, evaporation, supply pattern, extract location, pressure relationship and condensation control are calculated for the operating pool temperature and activity. Air is distributed across glazing and external envelopes, collected near moisture and contaminant sources, and balanced to preserve comfort and building durability.
Direct every drop
Waterproofing, thresholds, upstands, penetrations, falls and channels form one drawn system. Deck water moves to the approved drain without crossing dry circulation. Backwash, overflow, plant drainage and cleaning water each receive a defined route and discharge basis.
Select materials from exposure
Finishes are scheduled by wet slip performance, barefoot touch, chemical exposure, temperature, UV, cleanability and replacement method. Fixings, adhesives, grouts, sealants, metals, timber and glazing are assessed as assemblies, including every junction.
