Every water effect has a direction, a landing point and an acoustic character. A MAZACURE visual study of architecture, hydraulics and experience.
The Architectural Idea
A sheer descent, laminar arc and deck jet are selected through trajectory, fall distance, splash zone, sound, wind response and nighttime presence. Their trajectory, fall distance, splash zone, sound, wind sensitivity and nighttime presence determine whether they strengthen the architecture or become visual noise.
Design Principles
- Choose the water character first: silent, glass-like, textured, rhythmic or playful.
- Draw the full trajectory and landing point before selecting the feature position.
- Review wind exposure, splash reach and nearby circulation or seating.
- Coordinate lighting with water form rather than illuminating every feature equally.
- Use manufacturer performance and installation data for final equipment selection.
