Technology

The engineering behind botanical immersion water.

Standard pool equipment is designed for conventional bathing loads. MAZACURE is a development programme for the different challenge created by oils, pigments and organic material—measuring what treatment, dosing and operating controls are required before commercial claims are made.

The Baseline

Where a standard filtration plant stops

A conventional pool runs on three operations. Each does its job well — for the job it was designed to do.

01

Mechanical Filtration

Sand / Cartridge Media

Media strains suspended solids down to a fixed particle-size threshold. Effective against silt, skin cells and coarse debris — inert to anything dissolved, emulsified, or chemically bonded to the water itself.

02

UV Sterilization

Germicidal Wavelength Exposure

A UV-C chamber disrupts microbial DNA replication in water passing through it at that instant. No residual protection downstream, and zero effect on organic load, oils, or dissolved compounds.

03

pH & Chlorine Correction

ORP-Controlled Dosing

Chemical dosing holds pH and free-chlorine within a sanitizing band, using oxidation-reduction potential as the control metric. Chlorine is a non-selective oxidizer — it degrades a botanical phenolic exactly as readily as a pathogen.

These stages were not designed around concentrated botanical loading. MAZACURE begins by characterising that additional load and validating an application-specific treatment strategy.

The Engineering Layer

What the MAZACURE system actually does

Three functions, running in the same circulation loop as your existing plant.

MAZACURE filtration system engineering detail

Organic-Load Treatment Study

Candidate media and treatment stages are evaluated against oils, waxes, suspended fragments and dissolved organic load. Performance must be demonstrated through measured trials rather than assumed from the ingredient list.

Colour & Material Compatibility

Trials observe colour stability, precipitation, staining, aroma change and compatibility with finishes, seals, pipework and treatment equipment across realistic operating cycles.

Microbiological Safety Validation

Any proposed sanitising pathway must demonstrate safe water quality for its intended use and jurisdiction. MAZACURE does not claim an equivalent or chlorine-free safety outcome until independent testing supports it.

Three Filtration Grades

Aqua · Viva · Nova

One shared housing, one shared footprint — the internal mesh density, flow-path geometry and micron rating are each tuned to the viscosity and organic load of the formulation they carry.

Heavy Duty

Aqua

A coarser mesh density and wider flow path built to sustain continuous circulation under a high suspended-organic load without clogging or backpressure build-up.

Multi-Stage ProcessContinuous CirculationHeavy-Load Rated

Delicate / Pigment

Viva

Finer calibration and a gentler flow-path curvature reduce shear on suspended pigment compounds, preventing the micro-fracturing that causes staining and premature fading.

Pigment-SafeFine CalibrationStain Prevention

Ultra-Luxury Nano

Nova

Nano-scale media rated for the finest particulate threshold in the range, reserved for infusions where complete clarity and formulation integrity set the performance standard.

Integration Architecture

Two ways the loop is engineered

MAZACURE strengthens existing plant from the two circulation points that deliver maximum effect across the pool's established architecture.

6

Back to Pool

The first pass sits immediately downstream of mechanical filtration, digesting botanical residue before it can redeposit on the filter media. The second pass sits after thermal conditioning — final dosing and pigment stabilization happen once water temperature has settled, since several actives are thermally sensitive and are best introduced post-heat.

5

Back to Pool

A fully closed loop engineered end-to-end by MAZACURE: pump curve, flow rate and dosing stage are matched from the outset rather than retrofitted, so hydraulic losses across the loop are minimised and the elixir disperses in a single, evenly-metered pass.

What We Engineer Around

Hydraulic & water-chemistry parameters

Every installation is calculated against these variables before a single component is ordered.

Turnover Rate

Full pool volume must cycle through the system within a defined window — commonly 4–8 hours residential, faster for commercial — to keep sanitizing and dosing effective across the entire body of water.

Suction Configuration

The ratio of bottom suction to surface skimming is tuned per pool geometry, since botanical residue and surface oils concentrate differently at the floor versus the waterline.

Inlet Velocity & Distribution

Return inlets are positioned and angled to eliminate dead zones and short-circuiting, so dosed water disperses evenly rather than pooling near the return line.

pH & ORP Range

Water chemistry is held inside a band that satisfies sanitizing thresholds and the stability range of the active botanical compounds simultaneously.

Inlet Pressure

Dosing pressure is matched to line pressure so the elixir introduces at a consistent concentration regardless of pump duty cycle.

Ambient Temperature & Humidity

For indoor and plant-room installations, ambient conditions are factored in — several aromatic compounds are volatile and sensitive to heat and humidity swings.

TerraBlue Circulation

One design, five hydraulic capacities

Pump curve and connection sizing scale with capacity — the housing, control logic and MAZACURE integration point stay identical across the range.

Why It Matters

"Most pool systems maintain water quality. Ours also adds a controlled sensory layer — and the engineering unites both goals as one system."
